成语荟萃(二)

今天成语荟萃到了第二集。废话不多说。看看你喜欢哪句有趣的成语？

•  Make each day count 珍惜每一天
  很多人问我，我博客的名头是什么意思，今天告诉大家（是不是有点晚了，呵呵）。这句话在祝酒词的时候，用的最多。To make each minute count.
•  Ring a bell  唤起你的记忆
  不是摇铃哦。
  ex: You met me in the party last weekend. Does that ring your bell?
  我们上个周末才见过，想没想起来呀？
• see the light  豁然开朗
  中文意思是你在困惑了很长一段时间后，才看得清事情的原委。
  ex: In order to see the light, you have to risk the dark.
  这也是一句中文的经典成语了，不入虎穴，焉得虎子。如果你仔细留意的话，这句在Tom Cruise的经典片子"Minority"（少数派报告）中出现过。
• Pot calling the kettle black
  五十步笑百步，这个就不多解释了。
• turn over a new leaf 改过自新
  你想啊，翻过来就是一片新叶子了，还不叫改过自新么?
  ex: I have turned over a new leaf. I'm a changed man.
  我已经改过自新了。
• be all ears  洗耳恭听
  我浑身都长耳朵了，当然就洗耳恭听了
  ex:   A o you wanna know what happened at the bachelor party last night?
  你想知道昨晚的单身派对发生了什么吗？
  B: I'm all ears.
  我洗耳恭听。
